Product Design · UX/UI · Mobile App · Customer Experience · Augmented Reality

Overview

Design of a mobile application for Festival Park, currently Mallorca Fashion Outlet, conceived to centralize the shopping center's services and enhance the visitor experience through a digital platform connected to the physical space.

The project addresses product design from a comprehensive perspective, combining strategy, information architecture, user experience, and visual interface to connect brand discovery, promotions, navigation, and loyalty into a single experience.

Discovery & Strategy

The starting point is to identify visitors' needs and opportunities for improvement in the shopping center's digital ecosystem. The proposal seeks to reduce friction during the visit, facilitate access to information, and reinforce the connection between digital channels and physical establishments.

The strategy is structured around three main objectives: improving the navigation experience, enhancing the visibility of brands and promotions, and encouraging repeat visits through loyalty services.

UX & Information Architecture

The information architecture is structured around the users' primary needs, facilitating access to functionalities through clear and coherent navigation.

  • Store directory: brand search, establishment consultation, and relevant information.

  • Interactive map: location of stores, restaurants, services, and points of interest.

  • Offers and promotions: discovery of discounts and commercial campaigns.

  • Loyalty: access to bonuses, coupons, and benefits for program members.

  • Center information: consultation of services and useful resources to plan the visit.

User flows connect these functionalities to facilitate complete journeys, from discovering a promotion to locating the establishment and accessing its benefits.

UI Design & Prototyping

The visual proposal seeks to balance commercial content with an intuitive digital experience, prioritizing legibility, visual hierarchy, and easy access to main actions.

The design includes login and registration screens, promotion catalog, commercial directory, establishment sheets, maps, and information sections. The definition of patterns and reusable components allows maintaining visual and functional consistency across the different areas of the application.

Augmented Reality & Digital Experience

One of the core axes of the proposal is exploring augmented reality as a tool to connect the mobile interface with the physical environment of the shopping center.

Through a visual navigation experience, the user could use the device's camera to identify environmental references and receive directions to stores or services. This functionality is presented as an evolution of the interactive map, complementing conventional orientation with a more contextual and immersive experience.

Loyalty & Engagement

The integration of discounts, bonuses, and member benefits connects the digital experience with the center's commercial objectives.

The proposal aims to centralize promotion consultation, facilitate access to available benefits, and simplify their use in participating establishments. In this way, the application can help improve offer discovery, incentivize participation, and reinforce the relationship between the visitor and the shopping center.

Outcome

A digital product proposal that integrates navigation, commercial information, promotions, and loyalty into a unified mobile experience, incorporating augmented reality as an opportunity to enrich interaction with the physical space.

The project presents a global vision of the visitor experience, from visit planning to establishment discovery and the utilization of the shopping center's services.
